Visit the SBFL at Mini Open House for chance to win SBFL Cookbook and gift basket!

Welcome back everyone!  As your new Co-Site Presidents, we are so excited to start the new year and launch the Solana Beach Foundation for Learning’s (SBFL) Annual Fund Drive.  We would like to thank each of you for your commitment and dedication to Carmel Creek’s Science, Technology, Physical Education, and Visual and Performing Arts programs.  Your continued donations pay for essential school programs not funded by the State of California or your property taxes.  And all money raised at Carmel Creek stays at Carmel Creek!

Visit the SBFL table at the Mini Open House on Friday, August 27 to make your donation.  The first 15 families to make their donation that morning will receive a SBFL cookbook, entitled, “A Collection of Favorite Recipes.”  This cookbook was put together by parents in 2001 with recipes donated by teachers and parents, including Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Barney, Mrs. Giese, Mrs. Ray, as well as Julie Union and Beverly Jafek.

In addition, families that make their donation in the months of August and September will be eligible to enter a raffle for a “Fun and Fitness” gift basket filled with many great coupons and freebies.
